When Fans Stir Sh...Marion Hall Speaking On Spice?

Marion Hall or "Minister Marion Hall", (formerly known as Dancehall Legend Lady Saw) recently came under fire for a public expression of empathy towards fellow Jamaican Dancehall artist Spice...because it was all apparently false.

Details Below.

It all happened on a recent live video, a fan had posted a comment on Marion's social media telling her that Spice had apparently had a heart attack and went into a coma after going into cosmetic surgery. In addition to this, Hall recieved a call from someone else alleging that Spice was indeed in a coma.

A woman of Faith and a born again Christian, Hall felt moved to pray for Spice despite a difficult past they both shared.

However, reports began to then come out that Spice was not in a coma afterall despite rumors alleging such things which then prompted Hall to make a call to a reliable third party whom she and Spice share ties to who denied the alleged reports.

Spice's booking agent, Ray Alexander, made the following public statement to Dancehallmag.com to debunk the recent rumors:

"Spice hasn’t had a heart attack, neither is she in a coma. Those are all lies. The rumors were caused by people not knowing where she was and because she hadn’t posted on IG,”

Unfortunately, as we all know, once social media has even a hint of a grasp on something and people get their hands on anything they can turn into a messy situation, things became chaotic.

Many allege that Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) intentionally saw an opportunity to drag Spice's name in the mud and make the situation about herself, deeming her prayer and call for prayers disingenuous.

Undoubtedly, Spice and Marion Hall have had an extensive tumultuous past of sorts with each other apparently being pitted against each other by others behind the scenes and then resulting in an all out feud of words.

Article on their feud.

All in all, these are my thoughts.

With the way that social media is set up these days, fans instigate and initiate alot of problems with artist, especially artist in the same music genres. However, it is only when something is believed that it becomes a problem.

As well, I believe that Marion Hall's efforts to pray and move past her feud with Spice we're genuine. With that said, it's possible that while you do want God to help someone in their life, that you also are processing and experiencing your grievances with your past experiences with them. As well, publicly advocating for prayer for Spice also brought attention to the situation...but these are just my thoughts.

What are yours?
